Deborah Lyneen Smith, Ed. D. is a mathematics teacher and passionate advocate for members at Marshall Middle School. She has served in an interim capacity on the MNEA Executive Board since August 16, 2011 when the MNEA Executive Board voted to appoint her as District 12 Director Pro Tem upon recommendation by the president. Smith is currently a member of the MNEA Communications Committee and has served as an MNEA delegate to the Tennessee Education Association Representative Assembly.
