Jeanette Lambert
Schools and other groups in District 6
Jeanette Lambert is the library media specialist at Pearl Cohn High School, where she has served as the Association Representative for several years. Lambert has also served MNEA as a representative to the NEA Annual Meeting and the TEA Representative Assembly.  Her current term on the Board runs from July 15, 2013 through July 14, 2016.

Jeanette Lambert has been employed with Metro Schools for 20 years, in which 12 years have been at Pearl-Cohn High Entertainment Magnet High School . She is also the former librarian at Lockeland Middle School in East Nashville , where she was voted Teacher of the Year in 1999. 

Ms Lambert is active on a number of staff and schoolwide committees at Pearl-Cohn. In addition, she is one of the building representatives for the Metropolitan Nashville Education Association. On a professional level, she is a past president of the Tennessee Association of School Librarians (2002) and is a former library consultant with the Tennessee Department of Corrections. 

A native of Detroit, Michigan, Ms Lambert graduated from Wayne State University (Detroit, MI) with a Bachelor of Science in English. She also obtained a Master of Science in Library Service from Clark Atlanta University (Atlanta, GA).
