Office Manager/ Bookkeeper
Receptionist
Kristen Williams, a graduate of McGavock High School, joined the MNEA staff as a temporary employee during the fall of 2007 and was hired on as MNEA's permanent receptionist in the spring of 2008. In addition to answering the phone, Williams does extensive clerical work for the Association in support of our committees and membership processing.
Teresa Hayes is a native of Nashville and the daughter of a retired MNPS educator. She attended Tennessee State and joined the MNEA staff in 1989 as MNEA's receptionist and secretary to the Executive Director. She was promoted to office manager/bookkeeper in June of 2007.
Membership Specialist
Helen Conlee McMackin, a native of Versailles, Kentucky, served as president of MNEA (1991-1993), Secretary, and District Director. She taught French in MNPS for over 36 years before retiring and joining MNEA staff in January of 2006 as MNEA's Membership Specialist and assistant to the MNEA Nominations and Elections Commission and the Communications Committee.
