Carrol Trusty, a Career Ladder Level III teacher at Antioch High School, currently teaches in the A+ Lab, works as the lead Twilight School teacher, and coaches drama. She has more than 30 years of experience teaching English/Language Arts in Williamson County and MNPS. Trusty began the debate program at Antioch nearly two decades ago and coached debate at Antioch until 2009, guiding her team to numerous honors and empowering her students to earn many prestigious scholarships. Trusty began her tenure as MNEA Secretary on July 15, 2011. Her Association service has also included MNEA Association Representative for Antioch High School, TEA Professional Negotiations Committee, MNEA Rights and Responsibility Committee, MNEA NEA Annual Meeting Review Committee, MNEA Bargaining Team, MNEA delegate to the Tennessee Education Association Representative Assembly, and MNEA delegate National Education Association Annual Meeting.
